I’ve worked with musicians all my life.   When as a teenager I had bought my first ‘real’ camera, I was so lucky to have access to the likes of Bernard Haitink and Georg Solti, rehearsing in the orchestra pit at Glyndebourne Opera.    Since then I have turned my lens on conductors, singers and instrumentalists, and I bring to my photography an instinctive understanding of how musicians work, how they react, and how they want to be seen.
